• Designing and documenting new features
• Writing code, bug fixing and refactoring / improving existing code
• Ensure new and changed code is thoroughly tested and well documented
• Help / work with other developers to solve bugs, and also development and product design issues
• Conducting peer code reviews and giving feedback
• Interacting with the support team and helping them resolve customer issues
• Working with the rest of the team for knowledge sharing and product work

• excellent verbal and written English
• Organized, methodological and can work with very little or no supervision
• 5+ years’ experience working as a PHP / WordPress plugin developer (mostly back-end development)
• Familiarity with the best practices for WordPress plugin development
• Good understanding of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) environments
• Experience in efficient database usage
• Hard working and passionate – we are a young start-up
• Knowledge of version control using Git
• Good understanding of WordPress / application security
• Ability to debug your own code and that of others
• Experience in using debugging tools
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to communicate issues to the team
• Willing to adapt to the existing processes (any feedback and improvement suggestions are welcome, of course)
• Be available for work during European time zone hours from Monday to Friday

• Hands on experience with testing automation and writing testable code (unit testing) etc
• Experience with build tools and dependency management – gulp, npm, webpack and composer
• Ability to automate processes using GitHub Actions and GitHub workflows
• Strong background in scalable database usage with MySQL
• Good skills in react.js and jQuery
• Familiarity with WordPress coding standards
