Digital Lion Marketing is seeking an experienced Craft CMS developer for a permanent, full-time position. We are based in Los Angeles. While this position is remote, we are looking for someone that lives in the Pacific Time Zone.

Digital Lion a small marketing agency that works with large, national clients in the entertainment industry. We’re primarily looking for someone to build, maintain, and enhance our client websites using Craft CMS. Ideally, this person could also assist with front-end development. We’re looking for someone with a broad skill set, who is comfortable speaking up and contributing to all phases of the design & development process.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead development in Craft CMS
Code and test high-quality corporate websites
Consult with team to identify user and system requirements for websites
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Integrate tools using third party APIs
Document changes to systems and processes
Help to direct front end development
 
Experience must include:
Proven experience leading development projects
Building complex websites using Craft CMS
Working with Craft Modules
Experience with Craft Commerce
Expert knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
Building and consuming RESTful APIs
Front end frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation)
Works with Mac OS
 
Bonus if you have knowledge with:
Visual or user experience design
Sites built on ExpressionEngine
MySQL and PostgreSQL
PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel, Symfony)
Basic LAMP Admin (Ubuntu, Apache, Git, etc.)
 
This role is for you if you:

Have good communication skills; Fluent in English, written and spoken

Are excited to work with a small group of people (5 to be exact)
Enjoy working remotely with some support but without micromanagement
Are open to periodically working in our office if you live in the Los Angeles area
Can be available to work remotely M-F, 9-5 PST
