Scalable Path is looking for a Senior full-stack Laravel/React/MySQL developer to work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position.

CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
The company is a forerunner in healthcare job services including healthcare-related job search, hiring statistics, and more. This is not a startup but a well-established company with decades of experience across the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your primary responsibility will be to help accelerate the development of a new product being built in Laravel, React, and MySQL on AWS. This product leverages an existing public product's models, data structures, and some services, but the website and application logic makes this a distinct product.

You will be required to meet daily to show your progress, get clarity and direction on tasks, and for team building. Likewise, you will be expected to keep tickets in the project management system up to date while delivering well-written, self-tested, and peer-reviewed code to the repository on a regular basis.

In addition to building the new product, you may also be asked to maintain the existing product which is in Laravel and Angular 1 with a heavy focus on backend integrations and the use of ElasticSearch. The amount of work to be done here will be minor compared to the work ahead on the new product.

This new product has been under development for 18 months now, is well-designed aesthetically and programmatically, and is a pleasure to work on. We rely on automated tests, write Storybook stories for styled components, and love code reviews.

RELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:
You will report to the architect/team leader and interface directly with the Product Owner. You will also work closely with other members of the development team which currently consists of 7 full-time developers, one QA engineer, and one DevOps engineer. There is an existing daily meeting at 1:00pm America/Chicago (-05:00) CDT.

START DATE:
As soon as possible.

EXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION: 12+ months
This is a long-term position that we believe will last over 1 year.
